Medical Diagnostics and Hospitalized Treatment:
Specialist, dedicated resident and licensed veterinarian
technicians work together to provide the best available emergency care, diagnostic procedures, treatment and hospitalization
for our patients. Routine and specialized health care services are also available including internal medicine, orthopedic
surgery, soft tissue surgery, customized farrier services ophthalmology, dentistry, reproduction medicine, cardiology,
and dermatology and nutrition consultation. Our trained medicine staff is able to perform regular in-house diagnostics
on your pet to help us better identify any problems that may arise. While in hospital, your pet will be comfortable in
our specialized housing to ensure their stay is as comfortable as possible.
To make sure a proper diagnosis, we often need to inspect your pet. We begin a medical assessment by looking at your pet's eyes, ears, and skin and examination his or her cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, and skeletal systems for any abnormalities. We will execute blood and/or urine tests as essential to check your pet's kidneys, liver, pancreas, and endocrine system, including the thyroid and adrenal glands. Based on your pet's condition, we may recommend further diagnostic tests, such as radiography (x-rays), endoscopy (internal scoping), ultrasound, or biopsy.
While in our hospital, your pet will be in our hospital ward. If there is concern of contagious disease, he/she will stay in the isolation ward. Our wards are calm and comfortable with soft linens. Cats are kept in comfortable condos and ambulatory dogs are walked several times a day. A veterinary nurse will check the condition of each pet and provide caring attention. We also have extended care staff that is available to examine and care for your pet throughout t the time.
